OPPO expands AI features in ColorOS 16 ahead of Find X9 Ultra launch

OPPO disclosed a couple of new AI features set to arrive with ColorOS 16 on the Find X9 Ultra, scheduled for its global unveiling on April 21, 2026.

AI Bill Manager

New ColorOS 16 features

Among the additions is AI Bill Manager, which simplifies personal finance tracking by extracting payment details from both digital invoices and physical receipts and automatically organizing them into structured financial records.

The tool is accessible through the existing AI Mind Space interface, which users can activate via the Snap Key or a three-finger swipe gesture.

AI Mind Pilot

ColorOS 16 also introduces AI Mind Pilot, a feature that integrates multiple AI models to provide responses based on a user's personal context, and allows users to compare outputs from different models within a single interface. 

AI Menu Translation

On the travel and dining front, AI Menu Translation can translate menus from a photo, provide dish descriptions, identify key ingredients, and convert prices to a preferred currency.  According to reports, the feature is limited to 30 uses per month.

Meanwhile, a daily digest tool called AI Email Brief compiles summaries of incoming emails, highlights meetings and tasks, and offers a quick option to add items directly to the user's calendar.

On the interface side, the new Live Space feature introduces a more dynamic lock screen with capsule-style and stacked notification views, designed to surface relevant information while keeping the overall layout cleaner.

OPPO has also said it is collaborating with Google to develop Quick Share compatibility with Apple devices, which would allow the Find X9 Ultra to transfer photos, videos, and files directly to Apple hardware without requiring additional apps.

The timeline for that feature's availability has not been confirmed.
