Confirmed: Camera-focused realme 16 Pro+ 5G to launch in PH on April 23
The realme 16 Pro+ 5G will officially launch in the Philippines on April 23, 2026.

A new-gen camera-focused mid-ranger
To recap, realme once more collaborated with Japanese designer Naoto Fukasawa to construct this phone. It comes with "Master Design" in Gold or Grey, promising a "natural touch" for a more comfortable, premium feel.
realme also added an IP66/68/69/69K dust and water resistance.

In front, it uses a Corning Gorilla Glass 7i-protected 6.8-inch 4D curved AMOLED display with an extra-smooth 144Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, crisp 2800 x 1280 resolution at 499 ppi, 6,500 nits of peak brightness, Netflix HDR support, and a 94 percent screen-to-body ratio.
Under the hood, it runs on the 2.8GHz 4nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 octa-core processor paired with an Adreno GPU, 8GB/12GB LPDDR5X RAM,
The phone also has up to 12GB LPDDR5X RAM + 14GB Dynamic RAM designed to handle apps with ease, while storage options of 128GB or 256GB UFS 3.1 provide fast read/write speeds, though non-expandable.

Despite its slim profile, realme ensured that it has a large 7,000mAh battery supported by Type-C 80W Ultra Charge.
In the camera department, the realme 16 Pro+ 5G is loaded for a mid-range phone. The handset is packed with a 200MP Samsung HP5 w/ OIS, 8MP 115.5-degree ultra-wide-angle macro, and a 50MP 3.5x telephoto w/ OIS + LED flash.
It has 7x lossless zoom, 10x long zoom for concert snaps, and 120x digital zoom.
For selfies, it sports a large 50MP shooter.
realme also highlights that it has the LumaColor technology, certified by TÜV Rheinland for full-dimensional skin-tone optimization, fused optical bokeh, and light-shadow reconstruction.
realme also said that it has hair-strand-level boke as well as plenty of AI Portrait (AI LightMe, AI StyleMe) tricks.
For videos, it records 4K HDR up to 60fps for both the back and front cameras.
The phone also has stereo speakers, 300% Ultra Volume, and runs on Android 16-based realme UI 7.0, with a transparent design, improved smoothness, and Google Gemini Live.
