Confirmed: realme 16 5G and realme 16 Pro 5G will also launch in the Philippines on April 23

Apart from the realme 16 Pro+ 5G, realme confirmed to team GIZGUIDE that the vanilla realme 16 5G and realme 16 Pro 5G will also launch in the Philippines on April 23 at 5:30 PM.

Based on the design, the realme 16 5G appears to be similar to the realme 16 5G launched in India in February.

If that's the case, the handset features an "Air" design with an iPhone Air-like camera island. but now with a selfie mirror for "Gen Z selfies." It also has a 50MP f/1.8 main camera with Laser AF and a 2MP f/2.4 monochrome sensor for Portraits.

The rest of the specs include a 6.57-inch DT Star D+ protected 120Hz FHD+ Flexible AMOLED screen, 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 6400 Turbo SoC, 8GB/12GB LPDDR4X RAM, 256GB UFS 2.2 internal storage, a large 7,000mAh battery with Type-C 60W fast charging despite having a slim 8.10mm frame, and a 50MP selfie shooter.

Meanwhile, the realme 16 Pro 5G also has a powerful 200MP Samsung HP5 w/ OIS main shooter. While there's no telephoto zoom, it has an 8MP 115-degree ultra-wide camera. 

This device also features the Master Design, a 6.78-inch flat OLED 144Hz 1.5K screen, 4nm Dimensity 7300 Max SoC, a 7,000mAh battery, 80W Ultra Charge, and a 50MP front-facing camera.
