realme 16 Pro launched: Dimensity 7300 Max, 7,000mAh battery, and 200MP HP5 main camera

Apart from the Pro+ model, the brand has also launched the realme 16 Pro variant.

200MP with an advanced color algorithm

The new brings a feature-rich option focusing on display technology, battery performance, and camera capabilities. It also features IP66/68/69/69K dust and water resistance for enhanced protection against water dips, splashes, and dust.

The realme 16 Pro is offered in Pebble Grey, Orchid Purple, and Master Gold color variants.

In front, it features a 6.78-inch AGC DT Star D+ protected flat AMOLED display with 2772 x 1272 resolution, and 144Hz refresh rate. It supports 1.07 billion colors and reaches a peak brightness of 6,500 nits with DCI-P3 color gamut support.

Inside, it is powered by the 2.5GHz 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Max octa-core processor with Mali-G6115 GPU.  It is paired with 8GB/12GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB/256GB UFS 3.1 storage options.

The features

The handset is also equipped with a large 7,000mAh battery with a USB-C 80W Ultra Charge adaptor.

For cameras, it has a 200MP Samsung HP5 primary sensor with AF and OIS + 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens. For selfies, it uses a 50MP front-facing shooter capable of recording 4K video.

Other features are an in-display fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers, and an infrared remote control. It carries an IP66/IP68/IP69 rating for water and dust resistance.

Connectivity options comprise WiFi 6, 5G, 4G, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, NFC, and dual SIM.

For software, it ships with Android 16-based realme UI 7. The company also promises three years of operating system upgrades and four years of security updates for the model.
