In the Philippines, the pre-order price of the TECNO CAMON 50 is PHP 12,999.

The TECNO CAMON 50 is the brand's most affordable camera-focused smartphone this year.

This device uses a high-quality 50MP Sony LYT700C sensor w/ PDAF focus and OIS at the back. It is paired with an 8MP ultra-wide camera, Flicker Sensor, and an "Advanced Flash System."

This also has the Super-Zoom FlashSnap for capturing fast-moving objects up to 2x zoom and Perfect Snap Any Zoom that uses AI Auto Zoom to intelligently detect people, pets, or birds to instantly deliver an AI-enhanced cropped version of your photo.

In front, it uses a 32MP camera for selfies and video calls.

Apart from the cameras, the handset also has improved durability and water protection with 360-degree drop resistance and has passed the Military Grade Shock Certification, as well as SGS certification, and triple IP68/69/69K ratings, allowing the phone to survive underwater photography over 2 meters and withstand annoying dust or dirt.

TECNO also highlights that it has the Swan Neck Curve Design for improved comfort grip when holding the device.

The phone is available in Moon Shadow and Black Nebula Titanium, 7.38mm thin, and weighs 190 grams.

In front, the TECNO CAMON 50 uses a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with a 144Hz refresh rate, 2800Hz touch sampling rate, 1.5K resolution, and an In-Display fingerprint sensor.

Inside is the MediaTek Helio G200 Ultimate octa-core processor with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. It is paired with 8GB of RAM (+8GB Extended RAM), 256GB of internal storage, and a 6,500mAh battery with a 45W fast charger.

To keep the performance in check, it has a 12-layer laminated cooling system and thermal gel.
