First Nintendo Authorized Store Opens in the Philippines at SM Makati

The country's first official Nintendo Authorized Store opened on May 22, 2026, at the SM Makati Level 2.

A big win for Nintendo fans in the Philippines!

Nintendo began as a maker of playing cards in Japan in 1889. It later became the world's most loved video game company with classics such as Super Mario Bros. to the Nintendo Switch.

Over the years, the company has opened official stores in select countries, and on May 22, 2026 includes the Philippines.

The store is bright, colorful, and full of Nintendo magic. It features the brand's signature red and white design with tons of lights and big screens.

• Huge Plush toy collection - Walls filled with Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, Yoshi, Kirby, Pikmin, and many more
• Life-size Mario in a Warp Pipe - A giant Mario statue popping out of a green pipe at the entrance
• Nintendo Switch consoles and games - Latest consoles including the Switch 2, controllers, and popular games on display
• Hands-on gaming areas - Visitors can try new games such as Donkey Kong Bananza, Animal Crossing, Kirby Air Riders, and Mario Tennis at the Demo stations
• Merchandise and souvenirs - Walls are lined with keychains, shirts, caps, bags, and store-exclusive items.
