Following the global unveiling, the Xiaomi 17T finally goes official in the Philippines.

A jump from 3 to 5x zoom
To recap, the Xiaomi 17T is the base model among the series. It is available in Black, Blue, Violet, and Opal White.
It also retained the IP68 dust and water resistance protection from the previous model.
In front, the device boasts a 6.59-inch OLED panel with 1.5K 2756 x 1268 resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
Furthermore, the display also has up to 3,500 nits peak brightness, 68 billion colors within the DCI-P3 color gamut, DC dimming, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision support.

Inside, it has a 3.4GHz 4nm Dimensity 8500-Ultra octa-core processor with Mali-G720 MC8 GPU, 12GB LPDDR5X RAM, and 256GB/512GB UFS 4.1 storage options.
Powering the phone is a 6,500mAh battery with a 67W USB-C HyperCharge power brick.
Among its highlights are the 50MP f/1.7 Light Fusion 800 main camera with OIS + LEICA Vario Summilux lens. It is paired with a 12MP ultra-wide snapper at 120-degree FOV + 50MP f/3.0 OIS 5x telephoto sensor with 30cm macro and LEICA lens.
Xiaomi is proud to mention the upgraded zoom capable of delivering 5x optical zoom and up to 120x with its AI Ultra Zoom.
