Globe has advanced both network restoration and relief efforts in quake-hit Mindanao.

According to the telco, services in 31 of the 32 affected municipalities across Southern Mindanao are now fully restored in the provinces of Zamboanga Sibugay, Zamboanga del Norte, South Cotabato, Maguindanao del Norte, Maguindanao del Sur, Sultan Kudarat, and Sarangani.

Restoration teams remain deployed in areas still experiencing intermittent signal, particularly where commercial power outages continue to affect telecommunications facilities.

To support residents in high-impact communities, Globe has activated the following Libreng Tawag, Libreng Charging, and Libreng Wi-Fi sites to provide free calls, device charging, and WiFi services:

Purok Balite, Brgy. Lagao, General Santos City (June 11 to 13, 8:00 PM to 5:00 PM)
Hicban Village, Brgy. Lagao, General Santos City (June 11 to 13, 8:00 PM to 5:00 PM)

Globe has also rolled out connectivity assistance and emergency support offers in South Cotabato, Sultan Kudarat, and Sarangani:

  • Globe Prepaid - Free 1GB satellite data and 50 satellite SMS, valid for seven days
  • Globe Platinum and Postpaid - Free 2GB satellite data and unlimited satellite SMS, valid for 60 days
  • Globe Rewards and GCash - Customers may donate to Ayala Foundation's relief efforts through the GlobeOne app or via GCash to help provide assistance to affected communities

Alongside network restoration activities, Globe, through Ayala Foundation, is extending assistance to affected residents in Southern Mindanao.

An initial 200 relief packs have been distributed in Purok Balite, Barangay Lagao, General Santos City, in collaboration with the City Social Welfare and Development Office. The Foundation is also conducting a needs assessment with local authorities to help determine additional support requirements in affected communities.

To further support recovery efforts, #BrigadangAyala, together with WeAreAyala Business Club (WAABC) Davao, will deploy an additional 1,300 relief packs beginning June 16. The assistance will be directly distributed to partner communities of Globe and the Ayala Group in heavily hit areas.

For Globe customers who want help in providing assistance, they may donate via their Globe Rewards points to Ayala Foundation:
