Is this the true iPhone 18 Fold design?

Feels like a mini tablet

While awaiting an official announcement, here is a preview of the upcoming iPhone 18 Fold.

Also rumored to be called iPhone 18 Ultra, the new smartphone is set to be the first foldable iPhone.

According to Jam Online, which got a dummy unit of the device, the iPhone 18 Fold feels wider than a regular iPhone. It is similar to a BlackBerry Passport, but without the physical QWERTY keyboard and with a slightly smaller overall footprint.

It feels compact and solid in the hand and is thin for a foldable smartphone, just like the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7.

Once unfolded, the iPhone 18 Fold immediately feels more like a mini tablet, like a HUAWEI Pura X Max.

This is similar to the previous iPhone Fold CAD leak that hints at an inner screen closer to an HD aspect ratio.

The dummy unit includes a Camera Control button, with the power button positioned above it. The volume buttons are positioned along the upper section of the device.

It has a USB-C port positioned between the speaker grilles.

For photography, the iPhone 18 Fold is expected to feature a dual-camera system.

The dummy also suggests that the foldable iPhone could feature two front-facing cameras. One is positioned near the top centre of the outer display, while another appears in the upper-left corner of the inner foldable screen.
