OPPO Bubble announced: A cool 1.73-inch magnetic rear selfie accessory

Alongside the new Reno16 Series, tech giant OPPO launched the "OPPO Bubble."

It is a new style‑tech accessory (Mag E-Badge) that magnetically attaches to your phone, letting you preview the rear camera feed in real time and control shots remotely.

Ways to use the OPPO Bubble

This device is just 7mm thick and 27.5 grams light, making it easy to carry on belts, bags, or phones. It also has an IP54 dust and water resistance rating.

The device even allows users to personalize its AMOLED display with custom wallpapers or interactive features.

In particular, it uses a 1.73-inch AMOLED screen w/ 466 x 466 resolution at 266 ppi and up to 600 nits brightness. This lets users see the rear camera feed live, ensuring better framing, lighting, and expressions when someone else takes your photo.

The device supports static images, short motion photos, and videos (1 to 5 seconds) for carousel playback. You can also set interactive pet wallpapers that respond to taps.

OPPO said that it also functions as a wireless shutter up to 10 metres away, so you can shoot solo photos and videos without help.

It also has 4GB of storage, WiFi 2.4GHz, and Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity.

The device has a 550mAh battery with up to 25 hours of usage depending on brightness levels and other modes. The user may charge the device via USB Type-C.

Note that the OPPO Bubble currently supports devices including the OPPO Reno16 Series and OPPO Find X9 Series, etc. More devices may be supported via OTA updates in the future.

There is no word regarding its pricing yet.
