OPPO Reno16 FS launched: Dimensity 7300 Energy chip, 50MP camera, and AI Snap Key

OPPO adds a 4th variant to the Reno 16 series, this time it is called the Reno 16 FS.

Another version from the Reno16 Series!

The OPPO Reno 16 FS is available in Purple, Black, and Pop White colour options.

The device features a 6.57-inch AMOLED display with an FHD+ resolution of 2372 x 1080 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, up to 1,400 nits of high brightness, and 10-bit colour support. The display also houses an integrated optical fingerprint sensor for security.

Under the hood, the phone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Energy chipset, paired with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage, with support for storage expansion.

On the battery front, the handset packs a 6,500mAh cell with support for 45W SuperVOOC fast charging.

The camera features

For imaging, the Reno16 Fs is equipped with a 50MP main camera with OIS + 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP telephoto camera with OIS, while the front houses a 50MP autofocus selfie camera. 

Both the front and rear cameras are capable of recording 4K video at 30fps.

Other notable features include a Snap Key AI button, stereo speakers, IP68-rated water and dust resistance, and support for the Oppo Bubble accessory, consistent with other models in the Reno 16 series.

On connectivity, the device offers WiFI (2.4GHz/5GHz), 5G, 4G, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and eSIM support.

Finally, the handset runs ColorOS 16, based on Android.

It is currently available in Germany. No word yet if OPPO will bring this to the Philippines.
