All-new Kia EV3 launched in the Philippines: 511km range, 2025 World Car of the Year, and PHP 1,898,000 SRP

Kia Philippines, under ACMobility, expands its electric vehicle lineup with the new EV3, a car recently honored as the 2025 World Car of the Year.

The Kia EV3 also bagged the prestigious Red Dot and iF Design awards. The compact electric crossover combines Kia's flagship design and smart electric vehicle tech into an accessible, everyday package for Filipino drivers.

It commands attention with its futuristic aesthetics, anchored by Kia's signature Digital Tiger Face design and distinctive vertical LED headlights. Clean aerodynamic lines, door handles that sit flush against the body, standard roof rails, a rear spoiler, and 17-inch alloy wheels wrapped in 215/60 R17 tires give the crossover a sleek, modern look while optimizing efficiency.

It measures 4,300 x 1,850 x 1,560 mm with a long 2,680mm wheel base, a 140mm ground clearance, and a 460-liter rear boot capacity. It has a kerb weight of 1,800kg and a gross vehicle weight of 2,270kg. In front is a 25-liter storage frunk for charging cables and smaller items.

Inside the EV3 is a lounge-like experience with leather upholstery, an 8-way power-adjustable driver seat and powered lumbar support, and dual-zone automatic climate control. The sliding center console tray table functions as a flexible workspace or mobile desk, while the 60:40 split-folding rear seats provide easy cargo versatility.

The dashboard layout centers around Kia's continuous 30-inch Triple Panoramic Display, which combines the driver's digital instrument panel, infotainment touch screen, and a dedicated 5.3-inch climate control screen into one seamless housing. Seamless phone integration comes standard via wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, supported by dual wireless charging pads, a 6-speaker audio system setup, and five fast-charging USB-C ports distributed throughout the cabin.

Powering the EV3 is a single front-mounted Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor that generates 204 PS and 283 Nm of instant torque, capable of accelerating from 0 to 100km/hr in 7.5 seconds with a top speed of 170km/hr. Alongside is the 369V 5.8kWh lithium-ion battery pack that supports 350kW DC fast charging (10-80 percent in 29 minutes) and 11kW Home AC Charging (10-80 percent in 5 hours and 20 minutes). It has a driving range of 511 kilometers per charge under NEDC testing standards.

The EV3 comes equipped with active driver assistance technologies to remove stress from daily driving. The Kia DriveWise safety suite includes Advanced Smart Cruise Control, Autonomous Emergency Braking (Forward Collision Avoidance), Lane Keeping and Following Assist, Blindspot Safety Warning, and Rear Cross-Traffic Safety.

Compressive safety is further reinforced by seven airbags, electronic stability control, Hill-Start Assist, all-around parking sensors, and a high-definition rear-view camera. Switching to electric also eliminates fuel costs and substantially lowers routine mechanical maintenance expenses over time.

In the Philippines, it is available in Aventurine Green, Snow White Pear, Aurora Black Terra Cotta, Frost Blue, Shale Grey, or Ivory Silver.

Kia is giving early buyers an immediate PHP 30,000 discount. Reservation holders who purchase on or before October 31 also receive 5 years of FREE preventive maintenance services (PMS).

Every EV3 comes backed by a 5-year/160,000km general vehicle warranty and an 8-year/160,000 km high-voltage battery warranty.

Customers can begin reserving their unit on September 21, with official deliveries starting on October 1 across Kia's 38 nationwide dealerships.
