Acer Sospiro A15 launched with dual display and 64MP camera

Acer unveils an entry-level dual-display smartphone in the form of the Sospiro A15.

Easier rear selfies

The Sospiro A15 comes in two colour options, Naranja Vibrante (Orange) and Azul Profundo (Blue), and carries an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance. 

Its most distinctive design element is a secondary 1.88-inch TFT display on the rear panel, which can be used to view notifications and music controls and doubles as a viewfinder when using the primary camera for selfies.

On the front, the device houses a 6.67-inch HD+ IPS display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a waterdrop notch.

The phone's design

Under the hood, the phone is powered by the UNISOC T615 chipset, paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage.

RAM can be virtually expanded by up to 8GB using unused storage, taking the total to 14GB, while storage itself can be expanded up to 1 TB via a microSD card.

The device is backed by a 5,000mAh battery and supports 18W fast charging.

The cameras

For imaging, the Sospiro A15 includes a 64MP AI-enabled dual rear camera system with LED flash, along with a 16MP front camera that has its own dedicated flash. 

The rear display also allows users to take higher-resolution selfies using the primary camera instead of the front-facing one.

The phone includes side-mounted fingerprint authentication as well as face unlock for biometric security.

On the connectivity front, the Sospiro A15 offers WiFi (2.4GHz/5GHz), 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, GPS,  FM radio, a USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The smartphone runs Android 16 out of the box.

Acer Mobile LATAM has listed the Sospiro A15 on its official website, confirming its arrival in select Latin American markets, including Mexico. Pricing and availability details have not yet been disclosed.
