Nothing Phone (4b) launched: Snapdragon 6 Gen 4, 50MP camera, 6,000 mAh, and starts at PHP 21,990

In India, Nothing introduced its first ever b-series smartphone that will supposedly be the new entry point for buyers to the Nothing ecosystem.

Does b stand for budget?

The new Nothing Phone (4b) is the latest member of its 4 series of smartphones that include the Phone 4a and the Phone 4a Pro.

In India, the Phone (4b) comes with a 6.77-inch Super AMOLED screen with 2,344 x 1,080 resolution,  2,000 nits peak brightness, and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is AGC DT-Star 2 protected.

Inside the indian variant are the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 octa-core processor, Adreno 810 GPU, 8GB RAM, 128GB/256GB of storage, and a 6,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging via USB-C. Nothing claims that it charges to 50 percent in 27 minutes and to full in 80 minutes.

At the back of the phone is a 50MP main camera with OIS, and an 8MP ultra-wide with an LED flash and the Glyph Bar. In front is the 16MP selfie camera.

Other features include stereo speakers, 5G, Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 6.0, GPS, GLONASS, BDS, GALILEO, and QZSS.

It is IP64 dust and water-resistant and supports Dual NanoSIM.

Running the show is Android 16-based Nothing OS 4.1.

Nothing Phone (4b) 8GB/128GB - PHP 21,990

According to the PH Nothing Phone website, the phone will come in three colorways and is available in 8GB/128GB.

There is no word yet on when it will be available in the Philippines and whether there will be other memory configurations.
