Hyperscalers fuel PLDT Global's growth

PLDT Global Corporation, the international business unit of PLDT, reported a 26 percent year-on-year rise in total first quarter net service revenues for 2026.

The company attributed this to sustained momentum in its enterprise segment, driven by strong hyperscaler demand, strategic partnerships with global digital platforms, and continued resilience in its carrier voice business.

Growth was anchored on PLDT Global's expanding enterprise business, particularly its hyperscaler segment, where demand for scalable, high-capacity connectivity continues to accelerate.

The company saw sustained uptake of its International Private Leased Circuit Services (IPLCS) and colocation solutions as global tech players scale operations across Asia and other key markets. It also strengthened its growth pipeline through new strategic contracts with hyperscalers, content providers, and global enterprises, which are expected to contribute to revenues within 2026.

Our continued growth in serving hyperscalers and global digital platforms reflects not only the strength of PLDT Global's network infrastructure and strategic geographic positioning, but also our unwavering commitment to delivering world-class, reliable connectivity solutions, said Albert V. Villa-Real, President and CEO of PLDT Global.

Meanwhile, the company's carrier voice business saw its year-on-year decline ease to -8 percent, which PLDT Global attributed to cost discipline and optimization.
