vivo has expanded its T5 series in India with the launch of the vivo T5e, a budget-focused smartphone built around a large battery.

Longevity-focused entry-level
The device is available in Aero Blue and Shadow Grey colour options, measures 8.19mm in thickness, and weighs 199g.
On the display front, the T5e features a 6.74-inch LCD panel with HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate.

Inside, the phone runs on a 1.8GHz 12nm UNISOC T7225 chipset, paired with LPDDR4X RAM and eMMC 5.1 storage, and supports expansion via a microSD card slot.
Powering the device is a 5,500mAh battery, which supports 15W wired charging.
For imaging, the T5e is equipped with a single 13MP rear camera set within a pill-shaped camera module, while the front houses a 5MP camera positioned within a waterdrop notch.
Additional features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance, and MIL-STD-810H certification for durability.
On connectivity, the T5e supports dual 4G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, and a USB Type-C port.
The smartphone runs on OriginOS 6 out of the box.
