Grab Philippines expands GrabCoins loyalty program across rides, deliveries, and payments

Grab Philippines has expanded the availability of its GrabCoins rewards system, allowing users to earn and redeem coins across a broader range of everyday services.

The services include transport, food delivery, grocery shopping, and cashless payments.

The update gives consumers more flexibility to offset costs directly within the app or at physical checkout counters.

GrabCoins during the Payment step

All registered Grab users can collect coins through routine transactions and targeted in-app actions:

• Standard Bookings & Orders - Completing eligible Grab Car rides, GrabFood deliveries, and GrabMart grocery orders.
• Special Services - Booking rides in advance, hosting GrabFood group orders, ordering during promotional windows, or purchasing from selected pharmacy and grocery categories on GrabMart.
•  Cashless Payments - GrabUnlimited (GU) subscribers receive boosted earning rates on digital transactions, earning 6 GrabCoins Per PHP 100 spent via GrabPay, and 3 GrabCoins per PHP 100 spent using other cashless payment methods.
• Double Coins Days - A monthly promotion running from the 23rd to the 25th of every month, offering 2x GrabCoins on select highlighted offers on the GrabCoins homepage.

GrabCoins discounts can be applied instantly

Once accumulated, GrabCoins can be converted into discount vouchers via the in-app catalogue or applied instantly at checkout using a dedicated GrabCoins toggle feature for GrabCar, GrabFood, and GrabMart orders.

Additionally, users can redeem their coins for in-store QR PH purchases when paying through GrabPay. Earned coins remain valid for up to six months from the issue date; balances can be checked anytime in the app.
