The M5 Max delivers an 18‑core CPU, up to a 40‑core GPU, and supports up to 128GB of unified memory.

The M5 Ultra doubles the scale with a 36‑core CPU, up to an 80‑core GPU, and a massive 512GB of unified memory with 1.2TB/s bandwidth.

These chips deliver transformative gains with up to 4.3x faster AI performance, 2x faster storage, 1.8x faster graphics, and 1.3x faster CPU speed compared to the previous generation.

Thanks to its higher unified memory bandwidth, Mac Studio becomes a powerhouse for creatives, developers, AI researchers, and data scientists who demand uncompromising speed and efficiency.

Apple said that the Mac Studio is engineered for professional workflows with extensive connectivity beyond raw performance. 

It now offers up to six Thunderbolt 5 ports, support for up to eight displays, and next‑generation wireless with WiFi 7 and Bluetooth 6.

This setup ensures seamless integration with advanced peripherals, distributed AI setups, and multi‑monitor environments.

Generally, the Mac Studio positions itself as both a creative hub and a desktop powerhouse that can run large AI models locally, heavy video editing, VFX, scientific computing, and AI development.

Mac Studio M5 Ultra - Starts at PHP 379,990 or PHP 351 for education

The Mac Studio M5 Ultra with the configuration of 36-core CPU, 80-core GPU, 256GB memory, and 16TB storage is priced at PHP 1,211,990. 

There is also a 512GB memory option for the M5 Ultra variant coming in late October 2026.
