POCO M8 Power is now official
Despite the large battery, the phone remains relatively slim, measuring just over 8.4mm in thickness and weighing around 220 grams. Additionally, it has an IP65 dust and water resistance rating to sustain light splashes or dirt.
The rear panel is made of plastic and features a wide camera bar spanning the width of the device, housing two circular cutouts for the camera and flash alongside the POCO branding.
In front, it uses a 6.9-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1,800 nits peak brightness, and supports 960Hz PWM dimming to reduce eye strain in low-light conditions, along with full DCI-P3 colour coverage and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i.

Powering the device is a 2.3GHz Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 chipset, paired with 6GB/8GB LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage.
Battery-wise, it has an 8,000mAh capacity paired with 45W USB-C fast wired charging and is also capable of reverse charging other devices at 22.5W.
For imaging, the phone includes a 50MP main rear camera and an 8MP front camera for selfies, with both limited to 1080p video recording.
Additional features include an IR blaster and AI-based tools such as Circle to Search.
The device runs HyperOS 3 based on Android 16, with Poco committing to four years of OS updates and six years of security patches.

It is currently available in India. No word yet if POCO will release this here in the Philippines.
