Good wireless headphones don't always have to come with a high price tag. The TechLife Wireless Headphones are here to prove that point.
Meet TechLife Wireless Headphones

Currently priced at PHP 649 on the official TechLife Shopee store as of writing, these headphones promise premium-like features such as Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), "HiFi audio," and up to 15 hours of playback, all for under PHP 1,000.

Can something this affordable actually deliver decent sound and comfort?

Unboxing/Accessories

Inside the box, you'll find:

  • TechLife Wireless Headphones
  • Type-C charging cable
  • 3.5mm AUX cable
  • User manual

It’s a straightforward package, but the inclusion of the AUX cable is a nice bonus, which allows you to go wired if you ever run out of battery or prefer a more stable connection.

Build Quality/Design

At first glance, the TechLife Wireless Headphones sport a clean matte finish and a foldable, lightweight build that makes it easy to store in your work bag or backpack.

The earcups are comfortable, with decent cushioning that makes long listening sessions bearable.

However, the plastic material used gives off that familiar "budget" feel, reminiscent of those old CD-R King headphones back in the day. While it doesn't feel premium, the lightweight design helps reduce ear fatigue.

Control buttons for power, playback, and volume sit neatly on the earcup, alongside the Type-C port, AUX jack, and microphone, which are all conveniently placed.

Performance

Despite the low price, the sound quality is solid, which can easily be compared to some entry-level headphones from mainstream brands.

You get a reasonable balanced sound signature with punchy bass, clear vocals, and crisp treble for the price. It works decently for everyday listening, video calls, and even watching videos.

The 40mm drivers do a great job of keeping the sound full without being muddy. However, turning on ANC slightly reduces the bass and introduces a bit of a tinny sound, so we actually prefer keeping ANC off most of the time.

That said, the ANC feature still helps reduce low-level ambient noise (like the hum of a fan or aircon), but don't expect total isolation.

In terms of battery life, TechLife claims up to 15 hours, and that’s pretty close to what we got. After about five working days of mixed usage, we only had to recharge once, which is quite impressive for its price point. Charging takes around two hours.

The Bluetooth 5.3 connection was also stable throughout testing, with no dropouts within the 10-meter range.

However, one downside is the microphone quality. It works, but it’s not great because you’ll have to project your voice quite a bit for the person on the other end to hear you clearly. Perhaps it can be usable for quick calls, but not ideal for long meetings or professional use.

Pros - Surprisingly good sound quality for the price, long battery life (up to 15 hours), foldable and lightweight design, stable Bluetooth 5.3 connection, comes with AUX support for wired use
Cons - Plasticky build, ANC effect is barely noticeable and reduces bass, microphone is weak and requires you to speak loudly

Our thoughts

For headphones that cost below PHP 1,000, the TechLife Wireless Headphones deliver surprisingly good performance. The sound quality alone makes it a strong pick for budget-conscious buyers, and the long battery life, comfortable design, and foldable form factor all add to its value.

It's not flawless—plastic build, basic ANC, and a weak mic show its budget roots—but for the price, it’s among the most impressive low‑cost headphones we’ve tested.

Will you consider getting these budget-friendly wireless headphones?
