Maya completes recycled card shift, debuts "Bukad special edition" for PHP 350
Maya "Bukad special edition" now official

100% recycled plastic cards

Basically, all new Maya Visa or Mastercard cards now use recycled plastic while keeping the same durability, security, and everyday functionality.

Each card carries a "Made from 100% Recycled Plastic" mark on the back.

To mark this milestone, Maya launched the Bukad Card, a special‑edition Visa designed with Filipino visual artist Raxenne Maniquiz. It is bukadkad (flower in bloom); the card bursts with her signature illustrations of Philippine flora and fauna.

The new Bukad Card is powered by Visa and works worldwide for purchases and ATM withdrawals.

This move also complements its employee‑led initiatives like #MayaSWITCH to reduce single‑use plastics.
