Samsung Galaxy A07s quietly launched: 90Hz LCD, 50MP camera, IP54, and 6-years of updates

The listing suggests that the new Galaxy A07s is positioned as an ultra-accessible entry-level smartphone that supposedly punches above its weight class by featuring features usually only found on mid-range and flagship devices. Most noteworthy is 6 generations of OS updagrades and 6 years of security updates.

The phone measures 167.4 x 77.4 x 7.6mm and weighs 188 grams. It is IP54 dust and water resistance rated and comes in either Black, Light Violet, or Green.

The new entry-level smartphone comes with a 6.7-inch PLS LCD screen with a 1,600 x 720 resolution, and a 90Hz refresh rate. 

Inside the phone is a 6nm 2.2GHz octa-core processor, 4GB/6GB LPDDR4X RAM, 64GB/128GB internal storage, and a 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging via USB-C.

At the back are the 50MP f/1.8 main camera and 2MP f/2.4 secondary camera with an LED flash while in front is the 8MP f/2.0 selfie camera.

Other features include Dual NanoSIM, microSD card expansion, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.3, WiFi, GPS, GLONASS, Beidou, Galileo, QZSS, and 3.5mm audio jack.
