Instead of sitting inside the ear canal, the device attaches to the outer ear, letting users keep hearing street noise, office chatter, and passing traffic.

Anker said its flexible connecting bridge has been tested through more than 10,000 bending cycles, according to the company, and is meant to hold comfortably without pressing on the ear or slipping during quick movement and exercise.

For audio, the earbuds use 12mm dual-magnet drivers with Hi-Res Audio certification. They support the LDAC codec on Android devices and offer personalized sound tuning through HearID 5.0.

Call quality is handled by Anker's THUS AI chip working with a six-sensor array, which separates the speaker's voice from surrounding noise of up to 80 decibels.

Furthermore, the system earned the AeroClip 2 a Guinness World Records title for the world's clearest open-ear clip-on earbuds for calls, the brand noted.

Ergonomic fit

Anker also says the model is the first open-ear clip-on earbud to receive Apple MFi certification.

A Nap Mode, activated by triple-tapping either earbud, plays offline ambient sounds such as a crackling campfire or falling rain.

The earbuds carry an IP57 rating, giving them protection against dust, sweat, and rain during outdoor runs and gym workouts.

Battery life reaches up to 8 hours per charge, rising to as much as 32 hours when used with the charging case. A 10-minute fast charge provides about 4 hours of playback.
