Globe network upgrades across Nueva Ecija
The telco recently enhanced its network in areas including Cabanatuan, Gapan, San Jose, Muñoz, Talavera, Guimba, Cabiao, and more, providing better mobile experiences for residents and businesses.
A key part of the expansion is 5G, which offers faster speeds and higher capacity for streaming, video calls, gaming, file downloads, and other data-heavy activities.
The rollout comes as Nueva Ecija continues to grow as a major economic hub in Central Luzon. Based on PSA data, the province's economy expanded by 5.7 percent to PHP 331.96 billion in 2024.
As the digital needs of communities in Nueva Ecija continue to evolve, we are strengthening our network and expanding 5G to provide better connectivity for school, work, business, and everyday needs, said Mel Baquiano, General Manager for North and Central Luzon. We will continue investing in our network to serve the changing needs of customers and businesses across the province, Baquiano added.
To take advantage of the expanded network, Globe Prepaid users can subscribe to Go+99, which includes 8GB all-access data, 4GB free 5G data, 8GB for selected apps, unlimited texts to all networks, and a voucher, valid for seven days.
TM users can likewise enjoy 5G through EasySURF 50 5G and ALLSURF 99 and up, while also accessing rewards and perks via GlobeOne.
The Nueva Ecija upgrades are part of Globe's ongoing nationwide network investments.
In the first half of 2026 alone, the company deployed 878 new 5G sites and expanded 5G coverage to at least 80 percent of the population in 215 towns outside major cities.
