Globe perks for inbound tourists

Globe Prepaid has partnered with GrabCar, KKday, and Kultura to add discounts to its Traveler SIM for inbound tourists.

Every newly purchased Traveler SIM comes with the offers.

GrabCar riders get half off, with the discount capped at PHP 150, on fares of at least PHP 300. The offer applies nationwide.

KKday takes PHP 150 off purchases of at least PHP 1,000 across its site. Travelers can use the platform to book tours, day trips, and activities on the islands, among other experiences.

Kultura takes PHP 300 off purchases of at least PHP 3,000 at select stores. Globe said the perk is meant to help visitors take home souvenirs, including handicrafts and Filipino-made goods.

• 50% off GrabCar rides nationwide, capped at PHP 150, for fares worth at least PHP 300
• PHP 150 off KKday bookings with a minimum spend of PHP 1,000
• PHP 300 off purchases worth at least PHP 3,000 at select Kultura stores

The Traveler SIM gives tourists mobile service along with travel and lifestyle offers. Globe said it connects users to its Widest 5G network, which it said Ookla recognized.

Data comes in 20GB, 30GB, 80GB, and 120GB options.

Tourists can buy an eSIM on the GlobeOne app ahead of their arrival, or pick up a physical SIM at booths in airports.

Priced from PHP 500, the Globe Prepaid Traveler SIM includes 20GB data, unlimited calls and texts, and 15-day validity. A PHP 1,750 eSIM variant offers 80GB data and 30-day validity.
