POCO X8s now official: 6.35-inch compact screen, Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC, 50MP camera

POCO earlier introduced a new compact mid-range smartphone called the POCO X8s.

Key features of POCO X8s

The new POCO X8s arrived in a compact-looking body with an IP68 dust and water resistance rating, available in Black, White, and Blue. The phone's rear panel uses a matte finish designed to minimize fingerprint smudges. The metal frame is approximately 8.06 mm thick, and the device weighs 187 grams.

In front, the handset uses a 6.35-inch LTPO OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1.5K resolution, and an In-Display fingerprint sensor. The company claims that it also has up to 3,500 nits of peak brightness and super-slim 1.18 bezels.

Inside, it is powered by the reliable 4nm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 octa-core processor with an Adreno GPU. It is paired with 8GB or 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB or 512GB UFS 4.0 storage.

The handset also has a fairly large 6,330mAh Si-C battery despite having a fairly slim-looking body. Moreover, the company was able to add USB Type-C 100W PPS fast charging support and 22.5W wired reverse charging.

In the camera department, the phone features a 50MP main shooter paired with an 8MP ultra-wide camera. In front, it has a 32MP selfie shooter.

Other reported features include an IR Blaster remote control, stereo speakers, WiFi 7, 5G, Bluetooth 5.4, and NFC.

The device runs on HyperOS 3 skin based on the Android 16 operating system.
