Earlier, Acer went on a rampage by releasing 3 new highly capable and interesting notebooks aside from the Liquid Jade Zest Plus smartphone. Namely the Switch Alpha 12 with liquid cooling system, Aspire S13 ultrabook and the beastly Predator 17 X that's VR ready already.
|Acer Switch Alpha 12|
First is the Acer Switch 12, a transformer type of 2-in-1 that has a kickstand and a detachable keyboard. It has a 12 inch IPS screen, runs on either 6th gen Core i5 or i7 processor, 4 GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage.
Usually, reserved for the gaming systems, Acer also managed to introduce the Double LiquidLoop cooling system to ensure that your device never heats up.

|Acer Asipre S 13|
Next is the Acer Asipre S 13 an ultra-portable that has a 13.3 inch FHD screen that can be touchscreen. It runs on either 6th gen Intel Core i3, i5 or i7 processor, has 8 GB RAM, up to 512 GB SSD storage and battery life of up to 13 hours.
The Aspire S 13 also comes with a USB Type C port, HDMI and SD card slots which is also super slim and lightweight at 14.58 mm and just 1.4 kg.
It will have a starting retail SRP of USD 699 which is roughly around 32.5K in Philippine Pesos that will be released this May.
|Acer Predator 17 X|
Last but not the least is the beastliest of them all, the Acer Predator 17 X, the upgrade over Predator 17 that now has VR ready tech and much improved internals.
It now has a 17 inch 4K UHD IPS screen, 6th-gen Intel Core i7-6820HK processor that's overclockable, full blown NVIDIA GeForce GTX980 GPU coming from 980M, Vapor Chamber with trip-fan cooling system that's touted to be server-class and RGB Backlit Keyboard.
The Predator 17 X highlights NVIDIA GeForce VR-Ready tech that's compatible with popular VR devices such as Oculus and HTC Vibe. It runs on Windows 10 Home edition and comes with a starting retail price of USD 2,799 which is roughly around 130K Pesos.
