Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro: First Camera Samples

OPPO
Infinix
The Galaxy C9 Pro is one of the more interesting Samsung phablet that was released here in the Philippines recently. It's a powerful machine equipped with a solid metal unibody frame, 6 inch full HD Super AMOLED screen, 64 bit Snapdragon 653 octa core processor, 64 GB expandable storage, HiFi audio, and big 4,000 mAh of battery capacity. On top of that, the C9 Pro boasts whopping 6 GB of RAM for smooth multitasking and heavy gaming, the largest found on a 6 inch phablet under PHP 30K yet.

Aside from its BEASTLY specs for the price, Samsung also made sure that the Galaxy C9 Pro has the ability to shoot great photos, selfies, and even videos. How? This machine is armed with a pair of 16 MP f/1.9 lenses at the back and in front. Our expectation? The Galaxy C9 Pro must take photos of the identical quality at the back and in front.

In case you are curious to see how well its camera can perform initially, here's our first few snaps mostly taken during our stay at Marriott Manila using the Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro. Have a look!

As of the moment, the Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro can shoot great photos with proper colors on well-lit conditions. For lowlight, there will be some struggles, but its f/1.9 wide aperture lens can help it looks brighter than regular smartphone lenses with lower aperture. We also liked that it mostly retained sharpness and details in our dim-light sample there.

Occasionally, we observed that you need to have steady hands when taking shots as autofocus of Galaxy C9 Pro isn't super fast. Or else, there are times that your stills would be out of focus or blurry.

So far, we're partially impressed considering that the Galaxy C9 Pro is targeted to be a multiemedia centric and gaming phablet, not a photography device.
