GFK 2017: Huawei Beats Apple As The Number 2 Biggest Tablet Vendor In The Philippines
Just a week after the latest IDC data regarding the top 5 tablet vendors in the world was released. Huawei Philippines just showcased the latest GFK data this time.

According GFK, the well trusted source of relevant market and consumer information internationally, Huawei is now the number 2 tablet brand in the Philippines!
From just 6.6 percent of the market share last March 2016, Huawei doubled their performance to 14.3 percent! Huawei overtook Apple as the number 2 tablet in the Philppines according to the latest 2017 data of GFK this March of 2017!

According to the data, all the other brands are down in sales except Huawei. For example, Samsung from 35.2 percent is down to 31.1 percent, Apple from 14.2 percent to 10.3 percent, Lenovo from 12.2 percent to 6.7 percent, and Acer from 4.6 percent to just 2.4 percent of the local market share.
In particular, the reason behind the success of Huawei is they're still targeting the market who still loves to use tablets for multimedia.
