Huawei Launches Honor 9, Boasts 20 + 12 MP Dual Cameras!

Huawei has just unveiled the success or of last year's Honor 8 in China, the Honor 9. It's a super-midrange handset in style equipped with a dual camera setup.

Meet Honor 9

Like its predecessor, the Honor 9 comes with an impressive glossy curved back design in a compact package. It features a 5.15 inch IPS LCD with full HD resolution and 2.5D curved glass.

A new photography centric phone

Inside, this handset is no slouch. It's powered by the same Kirin 960 processor clocked t 2.4 GHz found with the Mate 9 and P10 series flagship smartphones. Not only that, Huawei paired it with up to 6 GB of RAM and up to 128 GB of expandable storage.

Moreover, this phone has 3,200 mAh of non-removable battery impressively squeezed in its small frame. It also has identical 20 MP + 12 MP dual rear camera setup found on the Mate 9 and regular P10 sans the Leica branding and possibly OIS. In front, it has an 8 MP lens for your selfies.

The device also sports WiFi, LTE w/ VoLTE, NFC, Huawei Pay, and a HiFi audio chip for audiophiles. Speaking of audio, in contrary to previous rumors, Huawei has included the very useful 3.5 mm headphone jack slot.
