Behind, it boasts a 13 MP sensor with whopping f/1.7 wide aperture lens. It's the bright and wide aperture size commonly found on expensive and high-end smartphones that can shoot really well even in lowlightThe other advantage of having a camera with high aperture size is it can take images with shallower depth of field and produce better bokeh or background blur.

In front, Samsung also has one of the brightest selfie camera around. The Galaxy J7 Pro is equipped with a 13 MP f/1.9 w/ wide angle lens and LED flash for selfies even in the dark places.

Selfie with softlight flash and screen flash combined

The initial camera samples we took using the main camera showed a lot of promise. It isn't flagship grade by any means, but the level of quality (detail, dynamic range, exposure, and clarity) of the stills we got are quite impressive for the a sub PHP 16K device.

The selfies are no slouch either. It is also pretty detailed and rich in colors. We also like the softlight-like flash combined with screen flash implementation by Samsung to take bright yet natural looking selfies at night.

Our only gripe is the lack of shutter control in the manual camera mode. We hope that Samsung can seed an update to this device so users can maximize the potential of its promising main camera.
