Aside from the new iPhones and Watch, Apple has also announced the new 4K edition of the Apple TV. It now has HDR and Dolby Vision for advanced picture quality.

The new Apple TV 4K is powered by the same iPad Pro A10X Fusion chip with six CPU cores and 12 GPU cores. Apple claims that this device has 2x speed and 4x better graphics performance.

Apple has also redesigned its UI w/ new screensavers and added more 4K video content like news, sports, and movies. It includes contents from Apple partners like HBO, Amazon Video Prime, and Hollywood.

Customers will love watching stunning 4K HDR movies from an impressive catalog on iTunes, while also getting automatic upgrades of 4K HDR movies already in their iTunes library and enjoying 4K content on services like Netflix and Amazon Prime Video, coming soon.

In addition, iTunes users will get automatic upgrades of HD titles in their existing iTunes library to 4K HDR versions when they become available.

Basically the Apple TV 4K lets you watch movies and shows in 4K HDR quality. Great for content from apps like Netflix, Hulu, and ESPN.

Pre-order starts on September 15 and it will be available on September 22. Priced starts at USD 149 or roughly around PHP 7.6K.
