We now have an easier yet safe and effective way to send money to friends, pay bills, and even buy mobile load and data via Messenger. Thru Messenger, PayMaya services will be more accessible and accessible to even more users.

This integration with Messenger represents an exciting new way to reach the unserved and underserved people and communities in the country by making payments available via social, said Paolo Azzola, Chief Operating Officer of PayMaya Philippines. Our mission is to make cashless payments available for all and this new channel via Messenger will help us enable more people.

This service was also designed to address the problem w/ 86% of Filipino households in need of connecting with friends and family to send money and pay bills, but doesn't have a bank account or a mobile money account.

Our goal is to amplify the reach and impact of providers like PayMaya by enabling tools that allow them to connect people with the services and friends they care about.

Through PayMaya's partnership with Facebook, Filipinos will have an easier option for sending money and paying bills on Messenger, whether they have a bank or a mobile money mobile account or not.

Using the PayMaya in Messenger is simple. All you need to do is:

1. Search for @PayMayaOfficial on Messenger on an Android device to start a transaction.
2. A chatbot will appear to guide you on the available menu options.
3. PayMaya users can create their account using Messenger
4. Those who already have the PayMaya app installed on their Android phones can link their wallet to Messenger

The PayMaya for Facebook Messenger lets users:

1. Pay A Bill - It includes a wide selection of billers such Meralco, Globe Telecom, Sun Cellular, Smart Communications, PLDT, Manila Water, Sky Cable, etc.
2. Buy Load - You can buy discounted airtime load using this service.
3. Inquire "My Money" Balance - This feature will show the your left balance.


Aside from accessing PayMaya in Messenger, PayMaya also comes w/ a physical card that can be linked to the mobile wallet. It can be ordered through www.paymaya.com/shop free of delivery charges and can be used at any Bancnet ATM nationwide, and anywhere VISA and Mastercard are accepted.

It can be linked up to three PayMaya physical cards to their app.

PayMaya is a regulated e-Money Issuer by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas.

This service works for both Smart and Globe subscribers.
