Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro to launch on Feb 14 in India?

On February 14, Valentine's Day, Xiaomi will launch a new smartphone in India. According to leaks, it is expected to be the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5.

A new Redmi 5 phone?

But, according to GSMArena's sources, Xiaomi could also launch a "Pro" variant of the said device, the Redmi Note 5 Pro.

According to leaks, the Redmi Note 5 Pro could be powered by Snapdrago 636 which is higher than the expected Snapdragon 626 of the Redmi Note 5.

If it is the Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro, expect it to come with a 5.7-inch or 5.9-inch 18:9 FHD+ screens with 2160 x 1080 resolution, 3GB to 6GB RAM, Nougat based MIUI 9.5, and dual SIM card slots (hybrid).

However, other rumors also states that Xiaomi could launch just the Redmi 5 and Redmi 5 Plus.

At the moment, both of those devices are only available in China.

Meanwhile, here in the Philippines, Xiaomi will be officially back on February 17.
