Finally, Uber Philippines Now Accepts Cash Payments!

Finally! After months of speculations and rumors I heard from Uber drivers, Uber Cash is now official. This is a great news for everyone who wanted to get the convenience of riding Uber, but doesn't have a credit card.

As we all know, most Filipinos have smartphones and data, but not all of them have credit cards. That is also one of the main reasons why most commuters who wanted a car to pick them up are using Grab Car instead.

Here are some things to remember according to Manila Uber Driver:

- Green screen means the rider chose the cash payment option.
- If the trip will go through a toll payment, never ask for an extra cash for the toll, it will be automatically placed on the total fare.
- Always make sure that you have enough cash for the change.
- If the box is colored grey, it means the rider chose credit card as payment.

With this Uber can now get the best of both worlds; either cash or card. It's for the betterment of everyone. Now it's now the turn of Grab Car to have credit card payment option to even up the game.
