Confirmed! Asus ZenFone 3 Now In The Works, Will Features USB Type-C!

This year, the ZenFone 2 line of Asus is arguably the most successful smartphone series in the Philippines and in the world today. They're even jumped to the 3rd spot this year from number 6 in terms of sale because of that.

That's fact alone is enough for Asus to continue the much talked about ZenFone series with the Asus ZenFone 3 line. In a recent post by Trusted Reviews, they were able to interview Mr. Jonney Shih, the Chairman of Asus, they were able to confirm that the ZenFone 3 line is coming and it will feature the USB Type-C connector. In addition to that, Phone Arena added an info that it will be available in entry level, midrange and high end versions to cater different target markets.

So an educated guess here is, Asus might be preparing for the next ZenFone Laser, Selfie and Deluxe line. To add more info, I also heard from several trusted individuals that the high end ZenFone 3 will might be still powered by Intel. Then the rest of the specs and design must be better than what they're offering today.

The rest of the details is yet to be confirmed. Now, I'm excited! :)
