While it's no secret that Nokia will be back in the mobile devices game this 2017, the latest news confirming its return made us even more excited.
Nokia Returns This 2017 In Partnership With HMD Global For 10 Years!
Nokia seals a deal with HMD Global to carry their phones!

In partnership with HMD Global of Finland (a subsidiary of Hon Hai Precision Industries trading as Foxconn Technology Group), Nokia has found its new homes under an exclusive brand licensing deal for 10 years! HMD Global will that will take responsibility for producing and marketing the new devices by the former king of mobile devices.

Under the agreement, Nokia will receive royalty payments from HMD for every sales of Nokia branded mobile phone or tablets which covered the intellectual property rights of the brand.
"We've been overwhelmed by the enthusiasm shown around the world for the return of the Nokia brand to smartphones. The HMD Global team has the ambition, talent and resources to bring a new generation of Nokia branded phones to market, and we wish them every success. I'm sure our millions of Nokia fans will be excited to see their new products!"
In connection to that, Nokia has launched a new phones section on its site today where you'll only see feature phones for now. Nokia phones running on Android will be available this first half of 2017 which could include the leaked and rumored Nokia D1C and Nokia C1 smartphones.
