TAG Heuer Connected Modular 45 Smartwatch Goes Official!

TAG Heuer has unveiled the first "Swiss-made connected watch" last night, the TAG Heuer Connected Modular 45, an new smartwatch packed with a modular design.

The modular design of this smartwatch enables you to easily swap out straps, buckles, and lugs. The "Connected Module" smartwatch can also be swapped out of a classic Swiss-made mechanical movement called the Calibre 5 or Heuer 02T Tourbillon.

It has a 1.39 inch AMOLED screen w/ scratch resistant sapphire cover, Intel Atom chip, 410 mAh battery for 25 hours of use, water proof up to 50 meters, GPS for exercise tracking, Android Pay, and runs on Android Wear 2.0 OS.

At TAG's website, there's a customization tool that enables you to try up to 56 different combos for your modular smartwatch. There are several color options for the case, Titanium, Ceramic, Leather, and Rubber strap options for the straps, and customized authentic watch faces.

The watch starts at USD 1,650 or around PHP 83K out of direct conversion. It will be available in the Philippines soon as well.
