Motorola Launches Moto Z2 Play With Dual Pixel Main Camera!

Better than ever! One of Motorola's most popular smartphone, the Moto Z Play has a brand new version, the Moto Z2 Play. Motorola's new Moto Z2 Play is a promising Android handset that has midrange specifications, support for modular accessories, and improved cameras on paper.

The new Moto Z2 Play has a slimmer design, lighter in weight, and faster on paper as well. It features a 5.5 inch Super AMOLED screen, the new and power efficient Snapdragon 626 clocked at 2.2 GHz with Adreno 506 graphics, and 4 GB of RAM. It comes with either 32 or 64 GB of expandable to 2 TB storage as well.

Midrange redefined?

However, due to its slimmer frame, the battery capacity is reduced to just 3,000 mAh. But, considering that the chipset is power efficient, we are hopeful that the well-known great battery performance of the Moto Z will still be there.

Moreover, the camera are the main highlight of this machine on paper. It has an extra bright 12 MP main camera sensor with f/1.7 aperture lens and Dual Pixel sensor. That's the same camera tech found with Galaxy S7 / S8 of Samsung. Front camera is at 5 MP. It also has 1.4 µm pixel size and LED flash.

Also, Motorola has announced 4 new Moto Mods. The Moto Style Shell with Wireless Charging, JBL SoundBoost 2 with built-in splash-proof coating and kickstand, Moto Turbopower Pack with 3,490 mAh juice and USB Type C connector, and Moto Gamepad, a portable gaming console controller.
