Close to a year after it was first deployed, the Smart WiFi service, a part of the company's network expansion program, is now available in more locations in the country. It includes, key airports and transport hubs, universities, hospitals and even entertainment hubs.

The Smart WiFi service allows people to have access to carrier grade internet with up to 1 Gbps speed in those areas. Smart WiFi can also support up to 3,000 users to keep them connected.

How to connect to Smart WiFi? |
If you can recall, the service can now be accessed as long as you are a Smart subscriber in the four terminals of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport, as well as in 17 other key airports around the country.
It is also available in seaports in Puerto Princesa, Batangas, Calapan in Mindoro, Cebu, Dumaguete, Dapitan, Zamboanga, Tagbilaran, Bacolod, and in the gateways to premier island destination Boracay, the Caticlan Jetty Port and Cagban Port.
There are also more SmartSpots right now. It includes high-traffic areas such as restaurant and bar clusters and malls.
Smart WiFi now also powers hospitals, government offices, city halls, provincial capitols, tourist spots and schools and universities across the country.
To continue surfing, load cards can be purchased to extend user sessions for PHP 20 for 2 hours, valid for 2 days; and PHP 50 for 10 hours, valid for 5 days. Smart subscribers can topup for as low as PHP 10, for 30 minutes, valid for 1 day.
