PMM (Philippine Manufacturing Co. of Murata Inc.) just launched its second factory Tanauan City Batangas to continously bring innovation to world's market demands.

The new factory of Murata Inc. in Tanauan City, Batangas is considered as the largest production site in Asia.

Senior Executive Vice President for Component for Business Unit Mr. Toru Inoue officially opened the event with his welcoming remarks. Meanwhile, Japanese Ambassador to the Philippines, His Excellency Ambasador Mr. Koji Haneda and PEZA Deputy Director General for Finance and Administration Mr. Justo Porfiro Yusingco shared their inspirational messages to all the guests.

Murata Inc. is a global leader in the design, manufacturing and sale of ceramic-based passive electronic components and solutions, and communication and power supply modules.

The company also offers a wide range of applications from mobile phones to home appliances, and automotive applications to energy management systems and healthcare devices.

Murata Inc. also claimed that their products became part of everyone’s daily lives in this constantly evolving way of living.

The opening of their second factory was attended by the company's top executives like Senior Executive Vice President for Component for Business Unit Mr. Toru Inoue.

Japanese Ambassador to the Philippines, His Excellency Ambasador Mr. Koji Haneda and PEZA Deputy Director General for Finance and Administration Mr. Justo Porfiro Yusingco also attended the event and shared their inspirational messages to all the guests.

The last six years were not easy for us because we encountered many issues and difficulties from start-up, hiring employees, production set-up and so on. However, with the huge support of our partners, now present this ceremony, together with our hardworking employees, we were able to overcome these challenges and also, we were able to expand our production in just a very short time. As a result, we are here now to inaugurate the opening of our second factory, he said.

Currently, PMM has almost 2,300 employees who diligently stand with their philosophy in processing reliable products to cater customers’ satisfaction, safety, quality of life and efficiency.

Mr. Nakajima also noted that their company admired his Filipino employees for being hardworking and efficient with their job.
