Sony to launch the Xperia XZ2 with SD845 in the Philippines this April!

Sony is expected to launch the Xperia XZ2 in the Philippines this April. This will be the latest in the XZ line to hit out shores and here are what to expect.

The Sony Xperia XZ2 was officially announced during the MWC 2018 in Barcelona. As per what they announced, we can expect a 5.7-inch Triluminos HDR Display with an FHD+ resolution of 2160 x 1080. It also has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection for scratch protection.

Inside it is running a 64-bit Snapdragon 845 octa-core processor with the Adreno 630 GPU, 4GB of RAM with 64GB of expandable storage of up to 400GB via microSD slot. It also has a 3,180 mAh battery that has Qnovo Adaptive Charging, Quick CHarge 3.0 and Qi Wireless Charging.

The main camera has a 19MP f/2.0 Exmor RS sensor with Hybrid AF, SteadyShot, Predictive Capture, 5-axis stabilization, Motion Eye and dual tone LED flash. The selfie sensor sports a 5MP f/2.2 Exmor RS sensor with a 22 mm super wide-angle lens.

It will be running Android 8.0 Oreo. In addition to that, it has NFC, fingerprint scanner, IP68 certification, USB Type-C and a pair of stereo speakers with S-Force Front Surround.

Price is yet to be announce but we will be updating you during the launch on April 24th so stay tuned.
