Garmin Vivomove HR hybrid and Descent Mk1 dive smartwatches launched in PH too!

Aside from the Forerunner 645 Music, Garmin also launched the the Vivomove HR and the Descent Mk1 in the Philippines.

Vivomove HR

The Vivomove HR is a premium hybrid smartwatch which features a seamless crystal OLED touchscreen with 128 x 64 resolution. It looks like an everyday analog watch, but it has smartwatch functions.

Aside from showing the time, the Vivomove HR can accurately track your heart rate, count your steps and calories, monitor your stress, enjoy relaxation-based breathing timer, and even swipe through your messages.

The Vivomove HR also has fitness monitoring tools like VO2 max and fitness age and allows you to control music and more.

It has up to 5 days of battery life on smart mode and up to 2 weeks of battery life in watch mode. It measures at 43 x 43 x 11.6 mm and weighs at 40.8 g (sport version) and 56.5 (premium variant).

Descent Mk1

Next is the Descent Mk1, a smart dive watch! Garmin dubbed it as the "versatile GPS dive computer" for your diving adventures.

It features a fiber-reinforced polymer case with stainless steel or titanium strap and a 1.2-inch 240 x 240 resolution screen with sapphire crystal glass on top.

It also has TOPO mapping, built-in sensors like 3-axis compass, gyroscope and barometric altimeter, GPS, and GLONASS.

It also has support for single-gas, multi-gas, gauge, and apnea diving. It even has nitrox and trimix to let you plan your dives directly on the Descent Mk1.

The Descent Mk1 also goes with a dive log to help you store and review your data up to 200 dives.

It also has Garmin's multisport activity, performance metrics, and smart notifications.

This device has up to 19 days battery in watch mode, 10 days in smartwatch mode, 40 hours in dive mode, and 20 hours in GPS mode of battery life.

It measures at 51 x 51 x 17.8 mm and weighs at 101 g (steel with silicon band), 94 g (titanium with silicon band), and 145 g (titanium with titanium band).

We are excited to introduce our expanded Garmin line to the Philippine market. Before, Garmins are primarily just used by hardcore runners, triathletes and hardcore adventurers.  In IronMan events almost 80% of athletes use Garmin.

The Vivomove HR and Descent Mk1 will be available in Garmin stores in the Philippines soon.
