These Pokemon games will take back players to the the region where it all started, Kanto. Players will be able to catch all 151 Gen One Pokemon including Pikachu, Bulbasaur, Squirtle and Charmander.

There are also new Pokemon as well as Alola Pokemon from Pokemon Sun and Moon. Nintendo is saying that these games will have a different yet familiar feel from previous Pokemon titles. It will even include Multiplayer.

Just like Pokemon Yellow, you will have either Pikachu or Eevee on your shoulder or head which is a call out to the original where Pikachu followed you around.

These are the first Pokemon games to come out for the Switch but Nintendo's hinted that there is a proper Pokemon game with the familiar core elements currently in the works. That Pokemon game is slated for a 2019 release.

Nintendo will also be releasing a Poke Ball-shaped controller called the Poke Ball Plus. This will allow player to bring one of their Pokemon along with them while they venture out in the real world.

Controls will take cues from Pokemon Go. You will use the JoyCon to do motion control like throwing a Poke Ball to catch a Pokemon. Pokemon will also be visible throughout the map so they can choose and prioritize which they want to catch.

A great feature is that you can transfer your Pokemon from Pokemon Go to your Let's Go Pikachu or Eevee games via Bluetooth.

It will be available on November 16, 2018.
