Xiaomi has finally launched the new Redmi Note 5 for the Philippine market. It's the latest value for money mid-range phone of the company equipped with a FullView screen and dual camera setup.

In case you missed our previous report, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 boasts a metal unibody construction and a 5.99-inch FHD+ screen with lesser bezels and a wider view.

Inside, it is powered by a highly capable mid-range chip. It runs with Qualcomm's new 64-bit Snapdragon 636 octa-core processor paired with the gaming capable Adreno 509 GPU.
It is paired with ample 4GB RAM, 64GB expandable storage, and LARGE 4,000mAh battery.
On the camera part, the Redmi Note 5 has one of the most capable camera specs around.
It goes with a 12MP f/1.9 + 5MP f/2.0 dual camera configuration with Dual Pixel PDAF for faster focus and dual tone LED flash.
Normally, the Dual Pixel PDAF tech are only found on higher-end smartphones. It also has AI that helps in edge detection, details, and background blur.
On the front, it has a 13MP selfie camera has AI face beauty technology. The AI face beauty mode can make your face slimmer, enlarge your eyes, smoothen your skin, contour your face, and more.
It also has an LED flash for lowlight selfies.
