Samsung Galaxy A9 Star and A9 Star Lite pre-order details announced in China
In China, Samsung announced the pre-order details the Galaxy A9 Star and the Galaxy A9 Star Lite. Both has Infinity Super AMOLED screens, Snapdragon chips, and dual cameras.

The Samsung Galaxy A9 Star features a 6.28-inch FHD+ 2220 x 1080 resolution screen, Snapdragon 660 SoC with Adreno 512 GPU, 4GB RAM, 64GB expandable storage up to 256GB via microSD card slot, and 3,700mAh battery w/ fast charging.
At the back, it has a 24MP + 16MP dual camera setup. For selfies, it has a single 24MP snapper.
It measures at 162.4 x 77 x 7.55 mm and weighs at 188 g.
On the other hand, the Galaxy A9 Star Lite has a smaller 6-inch FHD+ 2220 x 1080 resolution screen, Snapdragon 450 SoC w/ Adreno 506 GPU, 4GB RAM, 64GB expandable storage up to 256GB, and 3,500mAh battery.
At the back, it goes with a 16MP f/1.7 sensor + a 5MP f/1.9 secondary sensor. For selfies, it features a 24MP f/1.9 front camera with LED flash.
It measures at 160.2 x 75.7 x 7.9 mm and weighs at 191 g.
Both phones has a fingerprint scanner at the back, Dolby Atmos audio, Samsung pay, WiFi, 4G LTE connectivity, Bluetooth 5.0 (A9 Star), Bluetooth 4.2 (A9 Star Lite), GPS, and Android 8.0 Oreo OS.
The A9 Star comes in black and white colors for CNY 2,999 (PHP 24.8K). On the other hand, the A9 Star Lite in black and blue colors is priced at CNY 1,999 (PHP 22K).
