More affordable Xiaomi Mi 8 Explorer edition models will come soon

The flagship smartphone of Xiaomi will be having new set of models with a more affordable price tag.

Xiaomi Mi 8 had been introduced a few months back with different versions such as Mi 8, Mi 8 SE, and Mi 8 Explorer Edition. 

According to the Chinese smartphone manufacturer, the Mi 8 series have sold 1 million units since late last month even though it had just been available in China and some other countries only. The series will be officially made available and go on sale this coming August.

But even though the Mi 8 Explorer edition have not been made officially available yet, Xiaomi confirmed that there will be two additional models for this edition. 

The Chinese smartphone company said that the Mi 8 Explorer Edition will be their most expensive flagship for the Mi 8 series. It will sell for around $570 (PHP 30,500) in China and will arrive with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage.

TENAA, the regulatory agency of China, listed the more affordable Mi 8 Explorer edition models with 4GB and 6GB RAM, as well as 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB storage. Xiaomi have not yet confirmed the official combinations of memory as of writing.
