1. Tall AMOLED display - The Xiaomi Mi 8 has a beautiful display. It has a 6.21-inch AMOLED screen that has a 2248 x 1080 FHD+ resolution. It also has an 88.5% screen to body ratio with an aspect ratio of 18:7:9. The colors will definitely pop up since it is an AMOLED display. The big screen space will allow for an immersive experience in movies and games too.

2. AI ready - The Xiaomi Mi 8 has a Snapdragon 845 octa-core processor under the hood. This is an AI ready processor so you can expect that to have a presence in the phone's system. It is present with the camera suites with AI Portrait and AI Beauty for the rear and front cameras.

3. Great Performance - Along with Snapdragon 845 processor, the Mi 8 also has an Adreno 630 GPU, up to 8GB of RAM, and up to 128GB of non-expandable storage. This is more than enough to do gaming and multitasking activities. It also scored a whopping 301K on the AnTuTu benchmark.

4. Cameras - The Xiaomi Mi 8 scored 99 points at the DxOMark's camera benchmark. It has a dual 12MP f/2.0 main camera with AI Portrait and AI Beauty and a single 20MP f/2.0 front camera with AI as well. The AI assistance will help you take the best photos possible as it can help you adjust the settings according to the scene you are in.

5. Improved features with low price tag - The Mi 8 has the common features that you can find on a smartphone today but there are two stand outs that feature some improvements.

The 6GB RAM + 64GB ROM variant is priced at PHP 25,990. On the other hand, the 6GB RAM + 128GB ROM model is priced at PHP 27,990.

It will be available starting July 30 at Authorized Mi Stores in the Philippines.
