The network equipment and IP surveillance provider, Synology introduces new products, Active Backup Suite and Service Replacement Service in the PH.

The first one is the Active Backup Suite. This suite protects scattered data in physical, virtual and cloud workloads. This also supports incremental backup, global deduplication and data restoration.

Next up is the Virtual Machine Manager that replicates a production environment for a temporary disaster site.

The Active Backup G Suite works by backing up and centralizing it into the Synology NAS while the Active Backup for Office 365 provides a backup solution aimed at protecting corporate data created and stored in the cloud.

Aside from their new products, Synology claimed that they maintained its lead because of their focus on software especially in AI or deep learning and Hyper Converged Infrastructure (HCI or combining computing, storage and networking infrastructures in one).

According to Synology, ASEAN sales revenue increased by 30 percent in the first half of 2018 for Synology and this momentum is expected to continue. The Philippines stood out with more than 50 percent increase this year which is highest in the region.

In response to this, Synology is launching their Synology Replacement Service (SRS) in the Philippines to enable SMBs and SMEs to have near zero downtime of server availability and secure investments.

It is a service available for all rackmount NAS serves and it offers FREE two-way shipping for returning the defective product and for the replacement product. Once the application is approved, it can be shipped as early as the next business day. The application process is accessed online.
