Panasonic says that both feature 4K 60 fps, fast and reliable autofocus, high-speed shutter, Large high resolution electronic viewfinder, XQD and SD card slots, 3-axis tilt screen, weather sealing, and access to the high-quality lenses for the L-Mount. This includes the 8 Leica SL lenses released since 2014, the initial three and upcoming lenses from Panasonic and the upcoming lenses from Sigma.

The first three native Panasonic Lenses are the 50 f/1.4 Prime, 24-105, and 70-200 f/2.8 zoom. The company promises to rollout 7 more lenses within a year of the camera bodies release.

The two cameras look identical externally with a large but ergonomic grip while being covered in buttons and dials.

One of the most interesting and unique feature is the inclusion of a contrast AF autofocus with deep learning AI. This means that it may get better over time the more the user uses the camera.

What do you guys think? Are you interested in getting a Panasonic S1 or S1R?
